This is my t shaped literacy breaking news post about the marrog from mars . In our t shaped literacy The marrog was one of the two poems we had to read you could also draw it.

Yellow cats pov

Mr Johnson gave me to a man who smells weird. The weird man put me in his truck , but I missed my favorite meal DINNER . He put me in a cornfield and left. I followed his tire tracks all the way home and scratched at the door until that old man let me in and I ate my dinner .

The next day Mr Johnson tried to give me away again what’s his problem! This time it was a trucker going to MEXICO. That’s too far for me. I had a plan. The trucker stopped for some coffee and a trucker stop and go shop. Well he was inside I took the wheel and drove home. He ran outside screaming but that’s okay.

AGAIN he tried to give me away to a pilot flying far far away but the pilot couldn’t land because I took control of the plane and turned around and went back to the old man who keeps giving me away.

He kept repeating this until he gave me to a little girl she loved me she gave me food and had tea parties with me and her stuffed toys I never went back to mr johnson.

For our t shaped literacy this week we had to do a news report . You could either do one about a song the cat came back or Little little goat man . I picked little little goat man click my link to see my Canva work I did !

Sphero Blog Post

During maths we have been learning to program sphero bots to make different angles and shapes 

 Our Learning aims were to: 

• Identify different triangles by their sides and by their angle
• Use the header block to programme Sphero to roll different triangles
• Identify the direction of Sphero’s movement using degrees

For this sphero activity I worked with Freida 

We programmed a sphero bot to make a right angle triangle 

The most difficult part was making the diagonal line.

What was wrong with the programme?Well a couple of times we had a coding error and our bot went the wrong way.

We had to debug the programme by changing the speed time and angles.It took about 4 times to have success.

This is my springbok tour poster i made for my t shaped literacy. The plane is dumping flour and there is a big protest sign telling the springboks to leave and racism isn’t welcome here!.

This is my stand up t shaped literacy I have been working on this week . Its about different protests around new Zealand including , SpringBok tour , Parihaka, Great strike ,  water front dispute and woman suffrage.  There was different tasks like moting and adding a transcript and writing a story of being in one of the protests too.
